This collection of seven bold, bizarre, and emotionally charged shorts dives headfirst into the minds of the misfits, the haunted, and the revenge-driven. From Miami streets to basement mysteries, trunk-bound secrets to baby vendettas, these stories are as unpredictable as they are unforgettable.

About the Filmmakers
Clara Jäschke (*1997) and Daria Pantyukhova (*1996) are a directing duo who met during their sociology studies before pursuing a master’s degree in theater, film, and media studies. Their collaboration has led to a series of short films, including Nevermind!, Miami Baby, and Napoli Beach, which explore themes of identity, power dynamics, and human connection with a sharp, contemporary vision. In 2024, they founded Doppelregie Film eGbR, a Frankfurt-based production company dedicated to bold and character-driven female stories. They are currently in pre-production for their feature debut, Alma Mater (WT).

About the Filmmaker
Allyson’s first short film Need For Speed (Dating) premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, while her next short, Sitting, made its world premiere at SCAD Savannah Film Festival and won Outstanding Narrative Short at Tallgrass Film Festival. First Date, her newest short film produced by 20th Digital Studio, is currently airing on Hulu in their “Bite Size Halloween” series. Allyson adapted First Date into a feature film for Hulu, titled Jagged Mind, which the LA Times called “edgy” and “powerful.” She has twice been selected for the iTV/Catalyst Content Festival pitch competition, as well as a participant in Seriesfest’s Pitch-A-Thon, and a Semi-Finalist at the ATX TV Festival Pitch Competition. She has also been selected for the New York Stage and Film Filmmakers’ Workshop, been awarded Best Teleplay at Omaha Film Festival, twice been a top ten Finalist for Cinequest, a Finalist at Stowe Story Labs, and a Semi-Finalist at Austin Film Festival. Additionally, she has been awarded an Ensemble Studio Theatre/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Commission, an NG Art Creative Residency in France, a Monson Arts Residency in Maine, a Wassaic Project “Haunted Mill” residency, and multiple Juno Leadership Residencies through the Omega Institute. Allyson has two novels, Don’t Want To Remember You and The Perfect Place, currently available through Tapas Media.

About the Filmmakers
Hannah Levy is a comedy director known for making digital shorts at Saturday Night Live and John Mulaney’s Everybody’s in LA. They wrote on Netflix’s Murderville and Comedy Central’s Alternatino and made dozens of videos for Funny Or Die, The Onion, and ClickHole. They’re currently developing their first feature and a television show with their co-director, Jen.
Jen Chuck is a TV writer who has been working in the industry since 2015. They’ve been a writer on the shows Kenan for NBC, Saved by the Bell on Peacock, Harley Quinn on Max, Velma on Max and was a writer and producer on In the Know on Peacock working for cool folks like Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, Tracey Wigfield, David Caspe, Mike Judge, Zach Woods and more. Jen and Hannah are currently developing a show with the Lonely Island’s production company and CBS Studios. Jen and Hannah, as well as being co-directors on this project, are also co-directors of their dog, Sesame (Jen and Hannah are also married, isn’t that sweet?).

About the Filmmaker
After growing up in Michigan with a single mother musician, Evan went to Interlochen Arts Academy for boarding school where he studied theater. He then went on to the University of Minnesota’s Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program to earn his BFA in Acting – focusing on performing Shakespeare. After moving to New York City Evan directed Off-Broadway musicals for The Possibility Project – an NYC-based non-profit. Thanks to the pandemic, Evan translated his ongoing in-person theater work into a podcast, “Why Love”, which went on to be nominated for a Webby Award. This led to getting his MFA at FSU to study directing film. His last film The Man in the Blue Suit has been screened at film festivals including San Diego Comic-Con (where it won Best Action/Adventure), New Filmmakers Los Angeles, Sidewalk Film Festival, Vero Beach Film Festival, Tallahassee Film Festival, Central Florida Film Festival, New Filmmakers New York, Drama Int. Film Festival, Gasparilla Film Festival, Jacksonville Film Festival, among others.
