Shorts 3: Artificial Flavors, Real Feelings
September 27, 2025 @ 3:15 pm – 5:00 pm EDT
A cocktail of curated lives, emotional spirals, and digital awakenings.
This program of seven short films explores the tension between performance and authenticity — from influencer baiting in Central Park to a home assistant’s existential crisis. Whether it’s a third martini that opens the door to mystery, a stoner’s worldview shaken by an old friend, or a chef devoured by perfectionism, each story blends absurdity with raw emotion. These are tales of connection, confusion, and the strange flavors of being human.
Filmmakers and artists from a selection of these shorts will be attendance at the screening for a post-film discussion. Please see details for individual films below.

I really love that world and the things that can happen there.” Acquired by Cinedigm/Cineverse for distribution, Roy’s World is now streaming on Fandor, Amazon Prime, and elsewhere. The soundtrack album by Jason Adasiewicz was released by Corbett vs. Dempsey in 2023.
