Beirut, Lebanon. Hassan is assembling wooden boards. His wife is dead. He is building her coffin. Tamara and Rami, the children, in their twenties, are helping him as best they can to fulfill the last wishes of the deceased: to be buried in her childhood village, abandoned for more than 20 years.

About the Filmmaker
Born in Beirut, Roy studied cinema at la FeĢmis, Paris, in the directing department. Since he graduated, he has been pursuing his work as a director still in between France and Lebanon, with an equal interest for fiction and documentary. In 2012, he founded STANK, a production house based in Paris.
