Description
The Tallahassee Film Festival is excited and honored to host the inimitable NYC-based artist and filmmaker, Leah Shore. Leah’s work is much-lauded for the often boisterous blend of animation and live-action styles and unpredictable approach to raw and wild subject matter. Leah will present an artist’s talk about filmmaking and art and offer insights along with screening a selection of their short films. This program is sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Leah developed a passion for fine art, music, and a connection with people at a very young age. They showran a docuseries for Billboard Magazine, interviewing the Top 100 artists, producing over 50 episodes. Their recent animated music videos for Peaches (“Pussy Mask”) and Lyn Lapid (“Producer Man”) have gone viral with over 7 million views.
