5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.:  Premier screening @ the FSU Askew Student Life Center 9:00 p.m. – ‘til: VIP and Sponsor Reception at 621 Gallery in Railroad Square (Invitation Only)

Friday, May 16, 2008:

Simultaneous film screenings throughout the afternoon and evening at

2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: FSU Askew Student Life Center, 2:00 p.m. -  10:30 p.m.: Heritage Hall at the R.A. Gray Museum, 5:00 p.m. –   9:30 p.m.:  All Saints Cinema 7:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.:  School of Journalism and Graphic Communication Lecture Hall,   FAMU. 11:00 a.m.:  Tallahassee Community College (TCC) Educational Panel will feature writer/director/producer Eric Nicholas and Lee Ann Campbell, head of Blue Ridge Motion Picture at in the Turner Auditorium.

Friday, May 16, 2008:

6:00 p.m. – ‘til: StarFest/Downtown Get Down: A downtown get-down styled community-wide event to take place over several downtown city blocks. Activities include: open-air screenings, music, talent contest, vendors, and exhibits.

Saturday, May 17, 2008:

10:00 a.m. – midnight: Simultaneous film screenings throughout the afternoon and evening at the FSU Askew Student Life Center, Heritage Hall at the R.A. Gray Museum, All Saints Cinema, and the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication Lecture Hall at FAMU.

10:00 a.m.- 12 noon and 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.:  Florida State University will host several seminars and panels on topics such as sound design, picture editing and cinematography.

7:00 P.M.  – ‘til:  “It’s A Wrap!” party and closing ceremony at the Mary Brogan Museum of Art & Science. The Emerging Talent Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented along with the following awards: Audience Choice;Narrative Feature; Narrative Short; Documentary Feature; Documentary Short; Animated; and Best College Student entry. (Invitation Only)

*Volunteers requested to arrive one hour prior and we request that you wear all black long pants, shirt or skirt.

All held at the Florida League Of Cities, Located at Kleman Plaza
